A sense of humor can’t be taught. But transforming your witty observations and true-as-hell stories into a polished set can be – as long as you’re willing to put yourself out there, focus on writing, and learn from those around you!
Our Off Mic Standup 101 course is focused on the fundamentals that will empower you to take a fair shot at comedy. Your experienced instructor will cover the structure of a joke, different standup styles, the basics of constructing a set, an overview of the comedy business, open mic and performing tips, best practices for working on material, how to give feedback, and much more.
Course includes access to weekly sessions as well as weekly open mics and a virtual graduation show!
